I love Saturdays! The air just smells different… almost sweet.

I’d slept relatively early Friday night and so I woke up at a good time Saturday morn. I jumped out of bed, pulled the curtains aside and yanked the window open.

The clouds were gone from the day before and the sun was up and shining! I took a great big cat stretch and breathed in the fresh, cool Glasgow air.

I had my breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast, an apple and a cuppa hot English tea as I fiddled with the computer.

With Mika’s ‘Love Today’ blasting into my ears, I hopped down to the bank and then to Argyle Street to do my weekly grocery shopping.

With my fridge well stocked, I made a delicious, healthy lunch and soon after I sat down with a cuppa hot lemon green tea and continued with my clinical pharmacology and prescribing essay. I’d been stuck at the same section for days. But I was so determined to get the ball rolling again.

By late evening, I was pretty satisfied with the amount I’d written. I decided to treat myself to the newest episode of One Tree Hill while having dinner.

After a soothing hot bath with my new L’Occitane products, I lay in bed with the scent of lemons and roses lingering in the air, flipping through ‘Jamie at Home’ and feeling simply inspired by the man.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday! If only tomorrow would be the same.

This post was inspired by KhaiLee’s ‘preblog’ idea. I was too shy to post up anything on the proper preblog site (afraid of random people judging the rubbish I write) so I decided to just post it up here.

The concept is to blog about tomorrow as if it was yesterday. If I could have full control of tomorrow, it would be exactly like this.
