I’m inspired to blog!! Because for the past few days I’ve actually been up to SOMETHING.
Last Thursday I finally got myself a new cut, colour AND violet highlights by Mei’s one and only stylist, Thomas (now named ThomasTheGreat in my handphone). Very professionally done. He’s awefully nice to chat with too. Photos? Hrmm.. Haha unfortunately I don’t camwhore anymore (seriously..) and so no up-close pics of the new hair. I love it (eventhough my so-called friends still wont quit the name calling..).
I thought Friday would be a bore but I ended up going for the MPH clearance sale at the old Lim Kok Wing campus. Picked up 2 novels for myself which were only 25rm each..

My bedtime read. It’s about an autistic 15 year old boy who tries to solve the murder of his neighbour’s dog. It has pictures and the chapter numbers are not 1, 2, 3 but prime numbers! So cutela this book….
.. and..
I’ve had my eye on this one since spotting it in Buchanan Street’s Borders!!
I wanted SO many more….
My Saturday started early.. 5am to be exact. Raleigh’s March monthly meet was a hike up Bukit Tabur East in Gombak! Yes!! Finally an outdoor activity for me to sweat it out! Was looking forward to the hike till the night before when I Googled it and found out it was a rather dangerous hike and some dude actually slipped and fell 100 feet down but lived to tell the tale o.O
Well yeah it was bloody dangerous actually… It’s reputedly the longest quartz-rich ridge in the world. And so one can expect alot of rocky bits to climb. It was a fun challenge I have to say. I held on tight to those ropes (literally clinging on to dear life) and thank goodness I’m still in one piece.
The view of Tabur East from down below
An absolutely beautiful view of the dragon’s backbone and the Klang Gates Dam.
We also got a view of the KL and twin towers!
So refreshing to be back with nature again!
Kinda sorta near the peak but not really.
About 2+ hours from the starting point and we’re up at the peak!!… Where I got sun burned T_T
We re-charged ourselves with watermelon (crazy Raleighans who are training for some marathon hiked up 4 watermelons) and banana cake (courtesy of Mei) before the extremely hot hike down.
My Sunday afternoon was spent at Putrajaya. I was told that there are gonna be hot air balloons! And so I spontaneously went there expecting colourful big balloons in the sky and all I saw were KITES!!!! **Gives TM a disgusted look** “You didn’t use ‘hot air balloon’ as an excuse to come see chics did you?!”
Well, true to his words I finally saw my hot air balloons =P It was awesome! Like something out of the TV! I just got so happy when I saw em lifting up into the sky! So weird.. Like some kid in awe! Owh owhhh and I got a helium SpongeBob balloon!! How awesomeeeeeeeeeeee!! Wish I could show you pictures.. But I didn’t bring my camera cause it was a spontaneous thing and I only have shots on my phone. BooHoo. But go here for a peek.
SO I hope I’ll remain productive because my posting isn’t out yet (according to Encik Osman) and may only be out next month. And I really don’t wanna waste the precious free time.
P/S. Today is Monday. And I baked =)
